Drug and Alcohol Testing

The Department of Transportation mandates that routine drug and alcohol testing is performed. An employee who has a commercial driver's license is an integral part of your business and if a traffic infraction occurs, you could be held liable and your employee may lose his or her driving privileges. If you’re near Tallahassee, Quincy, or one of the surrounding communities, contact Allied Health and Rehab to schedule an appointment with our team for drug and alcohol testing.

A DOT Physical or A Non-DOT Exam

Annual physicals that are performed in a private medical office will ensure that your employees are in good health and can safely handle their work duties. Our trusted medical care provider will perform a thorough examination of your employees. Height and weight measurements, an assessment of the patient’s breathing, checking for underlying health conditions, and neurological concerns will be addressed during the standard appointment. The findings of this examination will be charted and you will be alerted to any concerns which could contribute to an employee not being able to maintain his or her current workload.

Alcohol Testing, Drug Testing, and Additional Services

Alcohol and drug testing is performed in a non-invasive manner. Each patient will be supplied with a collection cup and asked to urinate into the container. A urinalysis will determine if any foreign materials are present, including alcohol, prescription medication, and non-prescription drugs.

Since you are responsible for guaranteeing that each driver is healthy enough to drive and does not have any substances in his or her body that could impair the ability to drive, you may want to request alcohol and drug testing during each annual exam.

We also provide a wide range of chiropractic treatments to address more traditional health concerns. If an employee has been complaining about back or neck stiffness or if he or she is experiencing a reduced range of motion, which is affecting work performance, our chiropractor will examine the area and develop a treatment plan that is designed to effectively treat the issue.
